Privacy policy

The short version

Dawnly does not collect, upload, or sell any personal data. There is no account, no analytics inside the app, and no ads.

The app

Dawnly works fully offline. It reads your next alarm from the Clock app and, only in the window you choose before it rings, checks screen use, steps, or movement to tell whether you are already up. All of this is processed on your phone and nothing is sent anywhere.

The permissions it asks for (notifications, physical activity, optional usage access, and unrestricted battery use) are used only for that purpose.

This website

The site keeps exactly one piece of data: a single total number of downloads. When you confirm a download, that number goes up by one. It is not linked to you. No IP address, device information, or cookie is stored with it.

Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never leaves your device.

Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any host, processes ordinary request logs to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
